« on: October 09, 2017, 02:08:55 pm »
Hi everybody,

can anyone guide me how to create a new style for xbtit 2.5.4 please?
Or if you already have some style to suggest to me?

Thanks

Copy the folder: 'style/xbtit_default' to a new directory.
You can install the copied style as a new one from Admin CP
Modify main.tpl and main.css to make your own style
I'm a novice, eager to learn.

If you can't make your own theme I can do a theme design for a fee of course or if you find a theme you like here in the forum I can modify it to work

Thanks for your help.
For now, I want to make a theme design which have:
  • Left side: the categories of torrents on the server
  • Right side: the latest torrens and latest posts on forum
I don't know if you have an idea of what I want to do but I put a capture in the attachment :D

you really don't need a theme you need the side blocks put back in the script like it was before the script got converted to bootstrap

I got sideblocks back. I'm almost there to integrate bootstrap 4
I'll commit to the master branch once I'm done.

categories block is a custom block that don't come with xbtit so try doing a search for it in the forum

I found the missing code to activate the sideblock :)
On the source code on github (at main.tpl), some line of code is missing, we have just these on content row:
Code: [Select]
<!-- Content Row -->
        <div class="row">
            <!-- Content Column -->
            <div class="col-md-12">

Or on other source code, I have this:
Code: [Select]
<!-- Content Row -->
        <div class="row">
            <!-- Content Column -->
            <div class="col-md-12">
                <div id="bodyarea" style="padding:4ex 0 0 0;">
                    <table border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
                        <tr>
                            <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                            <if:HAS_LEFT_COL>
                                <td valign="top" id="col" width="150"><tag:main_left /></td>
                                <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                            </if:HAS_LEFT_COL>
                            <td id="mcol" valign="top"><tag:main_content /></td>
                            <if:HAS_RIGHT_COL>
                                <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                                <td valign="top" id="col" width="150"><tag:main_right /></td>
                            </if:HAS_RIGHT_COL>
                            <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                        </tr>
                    </table>
                    <br />
                    <table align="center" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
                        <tr>
                            <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                            <td id="mcol" valign="top"><tag:main_footer /></td>
                            <td valign="top" width="5" rowspan="2"></td>
                        </tr>
                    </table>
                    <br />
                </div>
 </div>
</div>
<!-- /.row -->

But I don't remember where I have that source code, perhaps here on the forum.
I have a active sideblock now (see pictures)
If someone need, this is my main.tpl with the sideblock active (see attachment)
